Group Description

2 Great Orphans is a duo of Computer Engineering students who studied in Cebu Institute of Technology: Nathan Alexander M. Baya and Hannie Mae C. Alajid. Our group was named from the ship that we will ride coming from Cebu going to Manila. In reference to our innovative Cross traffic system that we will submit for Imagine Cup, 2GO means "2 times the GO time."

Nathan and Hannie have something common. The group is called "Great Han" because our names have the word 'Han'. By adding 3 letters to it, the word 'orphan' is formed. So the group has a new name: Great Orphan. Since we are 2 in the group, our official name would be "2 Great Orphans."

By the time we would join the national competition of Imagine Cup, we would be 20 years old. This age is the 1st year of adulthood. RP stands for the "Republic of the Philippines." Our group name has 2 hidden names: Hans and Gret. By adding the suffix -el to these names, a story of 2 orphans would be formed: Hansel and Gretel. They were abandoned by their parents in the forest.
